I know the many has already made a post about this issue. But I think some of their lists are not really helpful so in this post I will be making my own list of must have SEO wordpress plugins that will surely help your blog in your SEO campaign. Other bloggers say that their SEO plugins list is related to SEO per se, but its not. And also I’ll be trying to explain why this plugins will help you in the search engine rankings. I will be listing the plugins in no particular order so as to indicate that there is no level of importance but you would ask me why would I give the title of this post “Top Ten”? Its because there is a huge number of plugins out there but for me these plugins are the top ones and I just don’t want to rank them. All of these plugins are important, here the Top Ten SEO Wordpress Plugin:

1. All-in-One SEO Pack

   I think this plugin is the most popular of all because this will give you control of your Blog Title, Descriptions and keywords. This essential this things will appear in the search engines. You can also tag posts with categories.

2. Google Sitemap Generator

   It will more easy for Google to crawl your blog if it has a sitemap. Install this in your blog and theres no need to update your sitemap always because it is fully automated. All you need to do is to add you sitemap in the Google Webmaster Tools.

3. WP Backlinks

   Backlinks are essentials in determining your ranking so in order to collect links, make “Link Baits” or you can install a plugin. WP Backlinks helps you to collect and manage reciprocal links with other blogs. Other bloggers can fill out a form on your blog, add a link to you, and you will then be notified so you can add a reciprocal link.

4. SEO Post Link

   Long URLs are not search engine friendly so you need to make it short. By installing SEO Post Link, post slugs are automatically made. This plugin also is capable of removing unnecessary words in your post slug. The result, your posts will rank better in search engines.

5. Psychic Search

   Secretly discover what your readers want to read in your blog, but how? Psychic Search allows you to have a tabular database of keywords that your readers type in search engines that is related to your posts.

6. Duplicate Post Checker

   To avoid being penalized by Google and prevent your posts from being dropped in SERPs you must not make any duplicate content. And if you accidentally made a duplicated post without knowing it, this plugin is going to help you to remove it.

7. Do Follow

   The dofollow plugin for WordPress lets you remove the evil nofollow attribute from your comments. And because No Follow will not work, why? Click here.

   This plugin automatically inserts related posts at the end of each post. This gives your readers some additional articles related to the topic if they want to keep reading. But the plugin also has a big SEO benefit. Internal links, that is links from one part of your site to another, are absolutely critical for SEO purposes. I’ll even go so far as to say that they are more important than back links. And the related posts plugin ads relevant internal links to all of your posts.

10. Simple Tags

    This plugin has a large feature set but every thing it does has to do something with the tags as implied from the name. Its utility might have decreased a bit after the introduction of native tagging support in the newer WordPress 2.3 version. But still it has a lot to offer and it builds its advanced features on the buit-in tagging support of newer WordPress.
