Conversion Blogging And Email Newsletter
Posted on | July 24, 2008 |
This is a follow-up for my “Types of Pillar Content” post, Yaro Starak also discussed about the importance of having your own Email Newsletter. And it has a rising trend in the internet today to have a newsletter in your blog. Yaro also gave an example how he made $6,000 from a promotion with John Reese and I think thats a really big achievement. Even for me, I would also want to make that amount of money online. I really recommend for all of you to read Yaro Starak’s “Blog Profits Blueprint: How to Turn your Blog into a Six-Figure Income and Become the Authority in your Market”. He mentioned here the common mistakes of bloggers that leads to failure and the ways to have a six-figure income. You can have the copy of the ebook if you will subscribe through my newsletter below. Here is a sample tip from the ebook.
Offer an Incentive
If you are planning to have your own email newsletter, first you should be able to choose the right Email Newsletter provider that will suite your needs, I will discuss it in my next post. Next is to offer incentives to your subscribers like giving away ebooks and free stuffs. Many people likes free stuffs so with that kind of incentive I’m sure many will subscribe to you.
Newsletter Visibility
This is very important, it is easy to build your email list if your subscription form is in the most visible area of your blog, in my case I placed my Subscription above this line. And another thing, you discuss with your blog readers why should they subscribe to you and tell them that you will not spam them. In my case, I will really not spam my subscribers, why? That is the main reason for your subscribers to remove their names to your list which will lead to the decrease in the number of your customers.
